Mobile Legends: patch 1.7.44 — balance, skins, protection

With the release of patch 1.7.44 in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, the MOONTON Games team made a number of balance adjustments, added new skins, and introduced a system account protection feature. The update also refreshed the free hero rotation and the Star Pass lineup.

Balance Changes

The main nerf affected Leomord: the defense bonus gained from his skill was reduced from a maximum of 110 to 90 at max level, while the starting value remains at 30. Leomord has long been one of the strongest heroes on the top lane, and the reduced defense should make him more vulnerable in the late game. Alucard received a buff — his mobility was improved and the cooldown of his core skill was reduced from 10.5–8.5 seconds to 9.5–7.5 seconds, allowing the hero to use his dash more often and deal damage. Now Alucard can participate more actively in team fights and recover his key skill faster for chasing or retreating.

New Skins and Events

Patch 1.7.44 brought new skins for eight heroes: Beatrix, Franco and Darius, as well as Leomord, Chang’e, Fredrinn, Aulus and Aurora. Hanabi is set to receive a fully redesigned skin, which will be released in one of the upcoming updates. Additional information about the skins and how to obtain them will appear in official announcements. Until December 23, everyone can try free heroes in non-ranked matches: the rotation includes Aulus, Fanny, Hanabi, as well as Gatotkaca, Granger and Beatrix. These characters are available without purchase during the specified period. The current Star Pass includes Aldous, Carmilla, Gloo, as well as Chou, Faramis and Irithel — pass owners will be able to play them and earn exclusive rewards.
