🔥 What Cross Stitch Actually Does
Cross Stitch is a parry-and-counterattack skill. Compared with the basic deflect—which just cancels an incoming attack with Hornet’s needle—Cross Stitch is the big sister: time it right and you will swat the incoming attack aside, then immediately slam back with a powerful counter. It’s a defensive player’s dream, but the timing window is tight enough that button-mashing will get you nowhere fast. Trust me, I tried.
🗺️ The Road to the Exhaust Organ
First things first: Cross Stitch drops after beating the Phantom boss inside the Exhaust Organ. That area sits in the mid-game, on the route to the Citadel for Act Two. My route looked like this:

Leave through the entrance in the top-right corner to reach Sinner’s Road.

Trudge through the muckroach-infested swamps—bring patience, not bug spray.

Climb your way to the top-left of Sinner’s Road.

Slip into The Mist, which is where things get weird.
